Living Areas

The lounge area is well equipped with comfy reclining chairs with foot stools and an electric reclining sofa, plus an on demand gas log effect stove for the colder months.

If you are unlucky to have bad weather for your stay, watch TV or a DVD or plug your iphone (or other phone) into our iPod dock. We've provided some DVD's for you to use as well.

A selection of games are also available for your use.

Lounge/Dining Room

The dining table seats at least 8 with chairs for 10, plus we have provided a high chair for the little ones.

Plenty of nice crockery, cutlery and glassware to finish off the table.

For the musical among you, please feel free to play the piano - an assortment of music is provided.

Beach accessories are also stored here - crabbing lines, picnic bag, parasol, spades, plus an iron and hairdryer.

Kitchen/Conservatory

Library/Quiet Area

The kitchen is fully fitted and boasts an array of appliances. Everything you need to create any meal you wish to make while on holiday.

Large fitted fridge freezer, kettle, large toaster, double oven and hob, microwave, rice cooker, health grill, lots of pans and kitchen utensils.

Full sized dishwasher is very handy for large parties!

The conservatory is a lovely place to sit and have a coffee during the morning when the sun pours in. Leave the door open and listen to the steam trains coming and going.

Or a glass of wine while it is still light in the evening.

A washing machine and small tumble drier are available in the utility cupboard adjoining the conservatory.

On the top landing alongside Bedrooms 3 & 4 is a quiet area with a comfortable chair. If you have to do some work while you are in Swanage this is as good a place to do it as any - away from the noise of other guests.

Or just a chance for some quiet time with a book.

Borrow or swap books from the library, as long as you don't take away any hard backed books we have there.

Outside

To the rear of the property is a block stone area with parking for 2 cars, plus facility for washing line. In the front garden sit at the patio table and watch the world go by while viewing the Purbeck Hills beyond. A great place to sit in the evening when the sun comes round to the west. Although the garden areas are small, why do you need a large garden - surely you want to get out and about and view the sea!
